Baltimore’s Three Columbus Markers

There is a statue from 1984 on the east side of the Inner Harbor, one in Druid Hill Park, and the Columbus Obelisk up on Harford Road.

  1. The Columbus monument on President Street was put up after Mayor Schaefer’s plan to move the Druid Hill Monument there, blew up in his face. The community around DH park raised all kinds of protest over his idea.
